car mods:
Tires: Advan A052 245/40-17 on 949racing 6UL 17x8 wheels. Tires are way too wide for the wheel, steering is unresponsive. Difficult to find tire limits.

stock Sach suspension

Perrin 22mm front and 19mm rear sway bars
front camber plates
rear Moog lower control arm
Jackson Racing oil cooler
DTC60 brake pads

Tire pressure: 41psi front / 35psi rear hot

Alignment: Camber: -3.2 front and -2.2 rear. zero toe front, tiny toe-in in the rear. Pyrometer says front needs more, close to 4 to be ideal, but that could affect braking.
This was a super windy day, it would of been a 1:56s without wind.

REALLY!
The WGI lap record, set recently, for a spec Miata is 2:14
The best I'm certain of is a buddy's 2:18, in a tuned (190HP) 2017 PP BRZ.
I equaled that time, in a rolling lap, with my stock engine/stock exhaust 2022 BRZ on 8-29-2022.

Whatever the weight, power and tires, that's amazing for TT5. Really fast for a NA BRZ, period!

I have actually driven that car. Nothing special, just stripped down to be around 2650lbs (weight will go up once caged), PP Brembo, MCS, swaybars, rear wing (header/e85). But Nick is a heck of a driver and will run 1/2 to a full sec ahead of others.

Back to the drawing board
