Are the LEDs plug and play? I've been thinking about this too. So the Vlands only give you the boomerang and turn signals, no high beam/low beam bulbs?

Yes they are! You can get H11 bulbs from anywhere and they’ll fit the low beams. I forgot which bulbs are the high beams, but they are also plug and play. The Vlands don’t give you bulbs, you have to order them! However, if you get the OLM headlights from FTSpeed (the ones on my car), they come with an HID projector, bulbs, and ballast, all with it for not too much more. Definitely the way to go in my opinion! |

I forgot to ask. Would like to hear on why you preferred the Gruppe-S and the difference over the decatted header.

Power from 3500-5500 felt smoother and stronger. I also like the sound of UEL with stock catback over stock setup. Tuning with both headers was done by @tomm.brz I went from gruppe-s to decatted back to gruppe-s. It was an experiment to see if a different header would make the greddy SP catback I purchased useable for my ears. |

The car was street tuned with data logs on the same stretch of road. I have tried using virtual dyno to get a rough idea. I did not do a baseline so numbers are not worth much. Used a different road when doing the OEM decat unfortunately, so virtual dyno would be even less accurate for any sort of valid comparison.
This was gruppe-s tune, early-mid revision vs final with stock front pipe. ![]() Gruppe-s with decatted front pipe https://datazap.me/u/mygotousername/...d?log=0&data=1 Decatted with OEM front pipe https://datazap.me/u/mygotousername/...log=0&data=1-7 Last edited by RToyo86; 05-25-2022 at 10:04 PM. |

I finally got around to installing Tein Flex's on my FRS. I lower the car only 3/4". I'll get an alignment next week.

I painted my RPF1s white.
Went to a Drive Thru and got asked if my car was a BRZ or FRS, lol. Told them it was an FRS on the inside, BRZ on the outside as they're looking at my FRS interior lol. My camber up front is 0 and there is a slight reverse rake. Rear is at 2 degrees. Do you guys think camber bolts can help with the fronts being slightly higher than the rear? Changed from a double line to a single line number plate. Here, number plates are not government issued so you can create your own as long as it's within regulations.
Also more airflow. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Nothing craptastic. The top of the shift knob on the AT is very plain. Instead of getting a new knob I got a stick-on 86 emblem overlay from here: https://koreanautoimports.com/86-sci...mblem-overlay/
I used a 25% off coupon but with shipping it's still pricey. Looks good from above. But it's a bit too big for the top and overhangs. Yes, it's centered. I would not recommend getting one of these. I also purchased a Uniden R4 RD from Amazon for $350. to replace my R3 which will go in my other vehicle. Cheapest it's been, everywhere else it's $450. https://www.amazon.com/R4-Long-Range.../dp/B09LRHV6QT It's sold by 3rd party vendors but ships from Amazon warehouses. Got it in 2 days. Review by Vortex: https://www.vortexradar.com/2021/11/uniden-r4-review/ It has better range and more features than the R3 and R7. The R7 though has them arrows. About the same size as the R3 but the power connector is on the right side. I used the same mount and power cord from the R3. https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...&postcount=101 And last but least, got some new plates today. It's actually a law in TN that about every eight years, if there's funds, they issue new plates. I read, that 300,000 TN'ers, not me, voted 42% for the new blue plate. The problem with the new plate's dark blue color is that traffic light cams, speed cams, and cops, can't read it. https://www.thedrive.com/news/44396/...-plate-readers https://www.actionnews5.com/2022/02/...icense-plates/ I don't see this as a problem. At least registration renewal is cheap in TN, $29./vehicle. That includes the new plate. Last edited by RickyBobby; 06-10-2022 at 07:00 PM. |

Finished up suspension refresh. Added pedders Strut mounts, New springs, and end links. Old end links were pretty crusty with 100k km.
