fule

So my gas light is on and i'm going to try some fuels around my way. Is it worth filling up say 1/8th of a tank or so, do a log after 20mi, then when it gets low again try a different gas station. I've noticed you recommend possibly running different fuel if you have problems.

Would it be a mute point as gas stations have to fill up at some point also? I'm probably thinking too much into this haha.

all looks ok except for the knock at lower rpm 2000 to 3000, looks fine mid and higher rpm and you can see the flkc is positive as the ecu returns timing it pulled prevoiusly.

nothing rearly bad, but should be better if your on 93 fuel, unless its a bad blend or you had 91 left in your tank.

the obly difference between 91 and 93 maps is timing advanced over 5000 rpm by about 1.5 degrees on 93 maps.

just looks like fuel issue to me, try some different brands, not falilair with all the brands in usa\canada maybe ask in forum or ask shiv at openflash

Thanks again Steve! I'll switch to the 93 map and compare/contrast with the same tank of 93.

I try to always get 93 but read that the 93 tune might be a bit aggressive if the 93 isn't spot on and so we may have better luck with the 91 tune..

Can someone have a look at my log please.

K&N Panel Filter and perrin intake tube
UEL Catless headers with over pipe & muffler delete
Power Blocks
OFT stg2 91oct tune with power block modification
50/50 mix of BP Ultimate 98 and Power Plus 108 octane fuel (Australian Fuels)
M/T
light weight flywheel and crank pully

http://http://www.datazap.me/u/stumpygt86/stumpys-3rd-gear-pull?log=0&data=1-2-4-5-6-7-8-9-13-14

Was a 3rd gear, WOT pull on a slight incline. I can run another log later today after I complete my oil change. Just want to make sure I am capturing the correct info.

Looks good, slightly rich. You should log Commanded AFR as well.

I will do another one later today as it is currently about 36 Celsius outside.

I might gain a bit extra if I am running a bit rich, just got to book some dyno time and have them tweek a few things. I just want to have minimal/no knock and good AFR/

no knock

although your LTFT is zero all the time (usually expect a few % variation) , not sure if thats a logging glitch.

was that first log straight after a re-flash or fueling up with better quality fuel ??

Usefull things to log are

LTFT
STFT
FLKC
FBKC (Knock Correction)
KC Learned
Ignition Advance
Throttle position
AFR
Commanded AFR
Advance Multiplier IAM
Engine speed RPM
Engine load
Intake Air Temp
Coolant temp
Oil Temp
Maf Voltage

Have a read of the logging thread link below
Hey Steve99, out of the above, what 2 could I drop when I run my next log? As I can only have 14 points of reference.

Cheers,

Jeff

MAF Voltage and Coolant Temp would be my choices, if you're only logging to ensure things are running safe.

Nooby question, but how do you change what you want to log? I was just messing around in the diagnostics on the tablet & didn't see anything.

Would appreciate some feedback on my latest log. Added a catless UEL header since the last update: http://datazap.me/u/fizz/del69ofhlog...&data=5&solo=6

Would an AFR reading of 11.7 at 7000rpm WOT be considered acceptable/safe?

By the way, does adding a free flowing exhaust system generally make the car run richer or leaner?
