Hmm... the whole Niagara on the Lake region is beautiful to drive through...
Not too many curves (the road along Niagara river near the Falls does have curves, but also bicyclists and traffic). Suggest you take the Service Road (North or South, your pick) instead of the 403 - the Service Roads are parallel (the one closer to the lake has nicer views) |

I would follow the gorge from Niagara-On-The-Lake all the way to Fort Erie. It's such a nice drive, especially when you get to all the giant houses in Fort Erie. After you pass the falls, you'll get to a set of lights at a Tim Horton's in Chippawa where you have to turn left or right. Take a left, then left again at the next lights. Go right at the stop sign to continue following the water for a great cruising road into Fort Erie. Watch your speed though. I've seen radar there on multiple occasions.
I live down the street from the falls, so if you have any questions about the area, feel free to ask!

Thanks for the suggestions. Ended up driving up and down river road to Niagara-on-the-lake. It was very nice. Stopped at some winery's. The wife and I are planning on visiting again. It was fun.
