When will you put winter tires on?

I have a good set of winter tires, but it drops the fun factor of my car about 25% so I will try to put off the change to as late as possible. When do you plan to do the changeover?

I usually throw them on after Thanksgiving and take them off in the middle of April unless there's a forecast of possible snow. After that one April Fool's Day snow storm, I won't be caught with my pants down ever.

Right now, I'm delaying going to Town Fair as much as possible because I'm not going to enjoy dropping a grand on snow boots.

Probably Wednesday if the rain holds off. The weather is calling for a mix of rain and snow Thursday.

I bought a 240sx for use this winter. I realize this is probably one of the worst cars for winter use, but I figured eh! Might as well have some RWD fun this winter without having to worry too much

Late November, or whenever the temperature is consistently cold. I have my snow tires on separate rims so I can mount the tires the day of a snowstorm (due to laziness, this will be the most likely situation).

I'm parking my BRZ in the garage for the winter. Salt eats cars. I have a 4X4 Silverado that I use in the winter. I wont park it until the first use of salt (which doesn't necessarily happen at the first snow). I can go back on the road after the heavy March rain clears the roads.
