I had to reset my windows twice over the weekend. The ice and snow trip the default mode so that the windows go down, but won't go up. I figure that Toyota is paranoid about someone's extremity getting caught in a window, hence when it senses an obstruction it will only go down.
In case anyone has missed previous postings on this issue, the reset is easy. Turn the car off, then move the key to the "On" position. Push the window switch down twice. Then pull up on the switch. Normal operation should resume. |
