Oil question: Motul 8100 X-CESS vs Eo-Lite

In the past I have used 8100 X-CESS 0W20 but looks like the only one I can get that's readily available is the Eco-Lite version. Anybody use the Eco-Lite in their car especially for track duty?

I've been tracking with Sustina 0W20 + Oil Cooler. My oil temps never go past 105C iirc so I wasn't too concerned about the 0W20 weight. Haven't done an oil analysis however, maybe this season.

Took mine to TMP 2 times with Eco-Lite 0w20. Car didn't blow up but temps got pretty high up there after one particular 5 lap session (266F/130C).

If I recall correctly, X-cess is the 5W40 weight Motul product. I don't think there was ever a 0W20 labelled X-cess from Motul, chances are it was the Eco-Lite in the past as well

Yup, got that clarified last week, completely forgot what I was using last year but it was definitely the X-CESS and will be going with that again.

Any particular reason for going 5W40? Just curious

Know there's nunerous discussions on oil weight for the use and we've been using motion x-cess for the last couple of years. Seems that I had a senior moment and forgot what oil weights motul has in the 8100 lineup.

Is there a place that carries Eneos Sustina locally?
