I have the OFT Flash - dropped by Shivs place last year and he installed it for me. Have had a few emails back and forth about UEL - he seems like a good guy and pretty straight up.
And the OFT is brilliant (no UEL, no E85 - just miles of fun).

Yea just a bit, almost feel like i'm being ignored at this point. Out $245 lol. And the e-tune description says the WHOLE process can take several days to a few weeks to finalize. It's been almost 3 weeks and i haven't even gotten one revision of the tune yet.

Agreed. I think the oft is a great, I use one on my car and so do a few of my friends. It's a great option for those who are just doing bolts on and want to learn about timing.
I understand that Shiv is a busy guy, however if he is too busy to reply to emails (which is possible) don't take people's money for an etune. Just reply back saying 'Unfortunately Im swamped I'll get back to you later in regards to the tune'. I don't mean any disrespect but people are paying for a service and want a return for their hard earned money. Even if that is just a 'sorry, ill get back to you as soon as I can' Hopefully that post wasn't out of line. Apparently I've done that before. FWIW I have never dealt personally either him, but I can understand the frustration people are having. Hopefully everything can be rectified sooner than later.

The only thing i question is about how busy is too busy? What would the timeframe on a tune be? Email responses should be quick, but to avoid frusteration on tunes, Shiv should put a timeframe on when tunes will be done. Without a deadline, it becomes easier to put it off to the side.

I never worked with Shiv, but overall it is not a good sign if he is so busy. Tuning a car needs a lot of detail and testing and overall it is a time consuming process. I did once an e-tune in another car and I had a serious issue because my programmer was very busy. The problem was that even though I was pressing the gas petal all the way down, the throttle angle was not opening a 100%. You could see it clearly in the logs, but my programmer didn't have the time to find it. So, even though my car seemed to be faster, in certain circumstances it was actually much slower. In the end, I found the issue myself and I had to do his own job!
