12V socket... no?

Am I correct that there is no 12V "cigarette lighter" socket in this car? I know it's old tech...

2nd night with the car we wanted to go somewhere, was not familiar with the car yet for navigation. So I broke out our trusty windshield-mount Garmin... and nowhere to plug it in? I thought I had looked everywhere.

Fortunately we got the car's screen interacting with my wife's phone (I need to figure out how to add mine) so we got to the destination.

Garmin says they do not make a replacement cable that's USB for the unit, and there are 12V-to-USB adapters but it's recommended for 2A to drive the Garmin, no idea if the BRZ has that. We might retire the Garmin to use in my car only, although we like its function better than the maps on the iPhone.

Presumably one could hard-wire a 12V socket in somewhere...

Oh, good. It's still there.
Kind of still needed for 12v air compressors and non-computery sorts of things.

Thanks so much! I looked in the general glovebox area -- and missed it.
