I'm sure it varies by system and policy. Where I am we have to get the flu shots, and have to get TB tested every year, regardless of where you work (I rarely go in a medical facility, and never in patient areas unless I'm visiting a patient).

I'm exempt from the TB test only because I had an allergic reaction to the test and they don't want to do the more expensive X-Ray test every year on me. So, I have to sign a waiver every year saying I haven't been exposed to it to my knowledge.

Since we (finance) are in a separate administrative building we only have to have TB test every 3 years. Everyone else, every year.

Meanwhile, I have an appointment with my primary care physician to get a "medical green light" to operate. Also I have an appointment to get some blood tests done.

Damn, at $50 per co-pay, it's adding up -

No one really wants to operate on an old man - it's kind of like replacing the valve springs on a FA-20 engine, the operation may be successful, but something else in the machine may get messed up -

The surgeon did give me some more (different) pain pills. They don't do much for the pain except they keep me from "crying out" in pain when I move wrong.

They just don't to seem to want to pass out the "good" pain pills like back-in-the-day. Fucking tweekers have put an end to that form of pain management.

Maybe I'll go down to the pot shop on the reservation and see what the medicine man has to offer -

I hate how insurance companies have more say than the doctors. They went to school on how to fuck people not help them.

Today isn’t my day. Recently security for my work had to extend their office aka make it bigger. Result, they have taken back area of my cubical... which I’m fine w, BUT today two of the security are playing w their new OTF blades recently and pass hr, they’ve been clicking and clacking at it (blade in & our) PLUS coworker who’s across from my space have her phone sound on and she’s had “tweet” sound going off every sec for pass 30mins. I’m bout to snap OTF blades and throw my coworker’s phone out of the window.

That is annoying! I hate it when my coworkers take personal calls and put them on speaker phone!

I have a few MicroTech OTF knives. Scarab is my fave.

Had a super bad day today. Had some things out with my mom. Doubt I'll be talking with her ever again. Sucks, but what you going to do when your parents lose their shit.

I’m okay ppl show off their new toys... but when they go at it for a hr, that’s enough. I almost lost it, so went to work’s gym to release my stress. Now I’m good.

That's got to be annoying -

I've never had to work in a cubicle, but I don't think I'd do real well.

I'd suggest you get a bigger OTF knife and ask those guys if you can join them "playing knives".

As far as the cell phone, just arrange an accident (something must have fallen out of the ceiling light - ).
