Nice job. I like it since I had a WRX, with an STi scoop even.
For production it would be possibly in composite, much harder to get sharp edges in metal. Might even be better to cut the stock hood (is it aluminum?) and install the older style WRX scoop. Cheers, Hong |

Can you move the scoop a bit forward?

Hood scoop is cool & all... But don't thing it's gonna work for few reasons.
1. I dont think, TMIC gonna fit due to intake manifold layout. 2. Even you swap EJ engine in there, current TMIC work fit Solution, do it like BRZ GT300 & rally STI style IC... But for that, TMIC nor hood scoop aren't nessary |

I just think the hood looks good and is the only link to past Subaru design IMHO. |

You guys are very talented. This looks so much better than stock. Why can't the manufacturers give us something that look this good?

those muscle cars have hood scoop for different reason.
This car is aero dynamic as is, why you wanna break it by adding hood scoop that doesn't have any purpose? Yeah I know, stating that, I'm making a lots of enemies, but that's my 2 cents |

Anyway....just fun to play with. That is the great thing about our hobby - everyone has different tastes and we can all build the car we want (time and money willing). |

I'm not saying hood scoop cannot be functional. For BRZ/FRS need hood scoop like mazdaspeed 3 &/or Shelby GT500 style more forward hood scoop |
