They need to see the light in order to write a warranty ticket though so whoever needs that done should bring the car in first to get the parts ordered.

Edit: All is good. I guess the benefit of having to wait so long to take delivery of the car is having the manufacturer iron out a few kinks.

yeah the tail light was one of the items that was corrected on the assembly line thanks to @Moto-P communicating with Tada-san very early on. that rain was bad, if you didn't have problem after that one, your car is golden

exchanged a big thumbsup this morning with an older gentleman in a blue BRZ, 360 & Mopac, anyone here?

i'm loving the sense of community around our car. last night on my way out of Randall, a younger kid stopped me and asked about my car. since i was treated super nice by Scion First 86 program, anytime anyone stops me for the car, I always love to stop and chit chat, gave a tour of the car (if I manage to keep it tidy). Last night I ever gave the kid a little taste being the passenger while I took a tight turn in the parking lot.

Similar story a week a so back with a gentlemen in a Hot lava FRS.

All and all, love the car, the community and the new sense of control now that I've nailed the basic of heel-toeing, double clutching and such. Signing up for a driving class as soon as I got some time off.

That was me. Clearly I'm older, but I've never been called a gentleman before . I posted about it in the "Official BRZ / FR-S TEXAS Spotted Thread". You must not be subscribed to that thread.

Welcome to the old man club! What is our age breakdown for Austin ft86'ers? I'm 34. That plus the addition of two kids I think qualifies me for the old man club as far as ft86 owners go.
