Please forgive my noobishness on this topic, but I see some people wanting shorter FD ratios (the majority) and some wanting longer ones (?FI people). I have an AT and want to have shorter gears for quicker acceleration, but I am also planning on going turbo (270-300whp) in the near future. Should I be looking for a shorter or taller FD? Mostly DD (50/50 city highway) with 5-6 track days per season. Thanks!

You just answer your own question. Shorter gears for NA to "shift" your power band to a lower rpm. Taller gears for FI to "prolong" the power band.

I paraphrased for ease of understanding.

I ordered FD 4.88 to Weir Performance, Weir has very good customer service and fast delivery before 2 days. I should thank Robert. http://weirperformance.com/

Weir package includes :

Solid spacer

Axle seals
pinion nut

I ordered Pinion Bearing from Toyota Dealer in dubai and before starting the swap i like to know is there more needed parts before swap?

Lexus IS300 M86 and M82 differentials came with 3.73 ring and pinion, these diffs are harder to come across compared to the 3.91 versions

MFactory just sells the ring and pinion, Ive never seen whats in the box with Cusco but wouldnt be surprised if its the same

We took a 3.727 from a Lexus IS250 or IS300 in a junk yard. Testing it in 2 weeks at NOLA. Supercharged application...race car.
