Carbon fiber notwithstanding, it's less expensive to engineer and produce a one-piece driveshaft. We have the more expensive option from the factory. Rest assured that Japanese engineers (or any auto engineers for that matter) aren't dumb and do these things with a purpose in mind. |

Ok....
then, as is that if you increase NVH .... here's colleagues describe that with this mod, the car is smoother, better gear changing and it's great? |

My example about NVH is comparing a solid steel driveshaft to an articulated steel driveshaft. That's why I said not to compare carbon fiber to OEM. You're comparing apples and dump trucks. |

perfect, I am aware of the difference between apples and um truck and car sales for normal public calculated costs, hehe ... but my question is .... because that made carbon fiber piece has not been made in two parts, as the original? and consequences e can expect from it in one piece?
We can think of twists, when the car goes through a hole in the asphalt of our everyday life? it is thought that? or is it just something for a smooth and perfect circuit? |

It's a good idea to mark/number the bolt holes before you start rotating, so you can make a note of what result you got from what rotation. My stock driveshaft was marked with white paint to indicate the correct rotation, with a mark on the diff side flange too, so I used that factory mark as a reference. YMMV. |

Drive shaft ended up not coming in today and have to put oem back on for now. Can someone tell me why he marked the oem driveshaft when he took it off??? It looks the same all around those 4 bolts so why do they need to line up? If it need to line up how do I line it up where it need to be without marks like installing a new oem driveshaft

The OEM drive shaft and Dif is marked with a red marking to line them back up (from the factory its marked). Thank god. Still not sure why it has to go back the same like that, The one piece it doesnt matter and I measured all of it and each part is completely equal in measurements. Either way I talked to a Subie Tech and he said if the OEM isnt hooked up the same it can cause problems... no idea why

Noise Vibration and Harshness.
OP, does the carbon shaft work with a short shift - the DSS Alloy one does not. |
