Generally, this isn't the kind of thing you go hunting for a bargain on if you want reliability... you also want to buy a kit based on your goals, not what someone else is trying to unload.

Nothing against the seller in that link, but the C38 kit is probably not what you want unless you're running only e85 (or race gas), and/or are building the motor with lower compression.

What is wrong with the c38 kit? I actually msged seller regarding that kit and heard nothing but good things about kraftwerks.

I was also looking into the 335 kit offered by sprintex but the stock tranny would not be able to take the abuse and would need a built motor to handle the boost.

How much power are you after? The C30 kit is typically a WAY better option for people. Tuning the C38's is also a lot harder, especially on pump gas.

The Sprintex 335 and Rotrex C38 would be pretty comparable in terms of abuse to hardware.

270-300whp on 94 octane. More concerned about torque. Would want torque to be around 230-250 range. The reason I would go with c38 is to have room to grow in the future.

If tranny and built motor are required for ~300whp I might as well swap the whole motor/tranny and go LS. My estimate is around ~20 grand for built motor with forced induction and all supporting hardware

Even the C30 has room to grow from 270-300whp, just need a smaller pulley. It's a much easier to tune kit too.

Based on your hp/tq goals, you're probably way better off with a turbo tapering off boost towards redline or a twin screw supercharger than a centrifugal supercharger.

The transmission should be fine with 300whp.

Probably true. No e85 here. Theres a station near by that sells it but i dont think they allow non "flex-fuel" vehicles to use the pump.
