Oh shit, that sucks.

I still haven't worked out what I am going to do on the next race. You can run softs or hard, but you have to run hards. No stop required. I did some test laps and I am about 2 sec a lap faster on the softs but of course they will degrade. Pit stop length is about the time difference over the race. I am running Nissan so I can choose either the GTR GR4 or the Silvia. I am 4 tenths faster in the Silvia on the softs, and only slightly faster on the hards compared to the GTR. I am more consistent on the hards in the GTR. So it will either be do all but one lap on the softs in the Siliva and pit for hards on one lap. Or no stop in the GTR on hards.

You might want to simulate that in an online lobby and see how well the Softs drive, even when they're almost completely worn out. In my experience they're usually still better than Hards.

Also you never know, sometimes there's a glitch and the Softs work just fine for several laps even when the wear indicator shows 0 tread left.

That’s the plan. Run both strategies and see what my total time is. It’s also 6x fuel multiplier so if the Silvia can’t make race distance on one tank without fuel saving anyway that will effect it. It should but not sure.

I finally got gold at Barcelona, I really dislike that track. Alfa 4C was the best car for me there. Okay power and top speed, good handling and low speed traction.

The Alfa 4c is OP as hell in the brands hatch race. 11 laps on softs 6x wear. Adjust brake balance and it easily makes it on tire. I liked the 650S too, but I had to fuel save to make it. FF cars last about 7 laps and tires are done. The Mustang was pretty good, I had my best finish with it going from 10th or 11th to 4th. I did like 7 races, purposely qualified at the back and drove a different car every race. Was fun.

I should probably boot up GT7 and claim my tickets. Hopefully none have expired. Haha

Couple of things;
Bought the GR Corolla, and damn, what a machine. It is so eager to attack turns and it feels like it wants to go faster than intended.

Also did some of the Honda Time Trials and the Suzuka Civic one drives like dogshit. Same thing with the SEMA Civic.

GRC is a blast in the game. Big fan.

FYI I'm really loving the current Daily C race. Lots of fun taking Gr.2 cars around Le Mans with the threat of rain.

I'm a bit rusty from not playing for several weeks. I also lost 4 roulette tickets. LOL.

Tried out that EG Civic at Tsukuba. Not a big fan of it. Didn't do the CTR at Suzuka since it is for 17 and under. LOL. I'm not going to say I'm 17. I did do the 'Ring one. I actually don't mind how it handles. Doesn't have much torque steer and understeer while accelerating (compared to every other FWD car in the game). Crazy how the top players are 20 seconds faster than me. I can't even think of where they're getting faster times at (my lap wasn't the cleanest lines tho). I only did 2.5 laps. LOL

Gran Turismo 7

I really don’t like the CTR at Nords.

I have been starting the GR2 race at the back and it is a lot of fun, especially if it rains right at the start.

The Mfg Cup race at Dragon Trail Seaside Reverse was a lot better then I was expecting. Still keep messing up quali but I still managed to start 3rd. The Cayman that started in 2nd messed up the death chicane and started a chain reaction though most everyone made it through with minor damage, 1st pulled away. I got into 2nd, fuel saved a ton, almost caught 1st before he pit and was able to squeak out an extra lap. Ended up getting the over cut on 1st but somehow the Cayman leapt us all. I think he started on the hards and went to softs after a few laps. Wasn’t as strong of lobby, only 78 points for 2nd.

Yeah my lobby was super weak. I qualified 2nd and took the lead early on and kept it...until I spun (slowly) near the end of my pit out lap after switching to RH. Damn cold tires! I had a 6 second lead at the time. Still managed to finish 2nd, but as I said earlier weak lobby, lol. I got 3-4 points more for 2nd place than I did last race, in which I finished 9th.

I did a 7:50.3 in the CTR at Nords. I hope that stands because I really really don’t want to have to drive that car again.

I really don’t know how much faster one can drive at this Time Trial.

You could get on the throttle sooner at the top of the hill after turn 1 and also the left after the esses. Take a lot more curb on the right and get back on the throttle sooner. But I hear ya, I can't seem to do better than 1:06.1xx and it ain't enough for a gold

Turing in a bit too early on t1 as well. It’s causing you to have to wait to go to full throttle. Same with finial chicane. Give up a bit more on entry to get a better line for exit. I’m stuck at 1;06.1st as well. I gave it a little go last weekend but haven’t tried to improve since.
