P0340 P0341 can’t get cleared
Cel came up with the code P0340 at first then P0341, I checked cam shaft sensor and tested it and the wire harness both looked normal as far as voltage readings even swapped the sensor with bank 2 intake side still got the codes
After I was checking the wires and started the car noticed the CEl was gone it did pop back up the next day car drives like normal when the code is cleared did see somewhere on the forum with similar issues say they found out the vvt sprocket was bad and replaced it fixing the issue but was wondering if any way to test if a failed sprocket is my issue too without have to pay the labor to get the front timing cover off to inspect it or am I going to have to bite the bullet and risk the fix |
