These caps fit perfectly on my 1st gen, but for some reason on my 2nd gen they are very tight on the hub. I'm thinking about hand-sanding the inner edge of these caps to get a bit more clearance, maybe 1mm or less. I think this should be fine since the wheel lugs center the wheel on the hub right? Also will this cause the anodized color/dye to start flaking? @Gruppe-s

It's probably the nice paint on the new hubs. It has probably flaked off of your first gen by the time you used them.

I'm not 100% sure but at the time this product came about, WEDSSport didn't offer their own hubcentric cap.
