(Sh*t! That might have bean a political post but I'm not sure.)

Few of my competitors went the “gouge” route this year on a part I sell. Now I am back ordered 6 full 40ft shipping containers of it. Glad we stood our ground. One of them came to me at our recent trade show asking if I was looking to go halves on a container since he didn’t feel good about buying a full one.

Can you tell me/us what part it is that warrants such a big order? I appreciate that you might not want to divulge. What kind of parts do you sell? You've probably mentioned what field you're in but I don't recall.

Then it would just be partisanship. Discussing systems for distribution of goods and services is political at its core.

So I've reported all of you. Shame!

I'm fairly certain that is how 60% of the posts here are made too.

TIL the phrase Laying Rope.

Edit, there seem to be two definitions... I give up.

It's a karting tire. We supply amusement facilities and manufacture equipment.

TIL when you take a rim to a shop to have curb rash repaired you actually have to ask them to color match it. $150 later I have a rim that's basically trash. It's beautiful... but trash.
