If you're delivering tofu and have that coffee uncovered I'm okay with that. But is triggering my anxiety in case it spills and stains the seats lmao.

lol I don't have too much issue with it. Though one time I was driving to work and it was icy and the suv I had at the time went sideways and I pretty much threw my coffee against the driver side window counter steering. I don't think a lid would have made much difference. I wouldn't dare drive with an open cup in the car, far too bumpy.

That would be my worst nightmare.

It's not over yet but this news is good context for moving forward, and has provided some relief for everyone.

Other good news is both my parents got their first vaccine dose on Saturday...
Surgery went well... she was up on her feet within a few days and currently is just a bit tired day to day. No more pain.

They did remove (5) lymph nodes as a precaution and confirmed the cancer had not spread. No chemo required and just some radiation starting in June. AMAZING NEWS and a relief for everyone!

For a breast cancer prognosis this is about as good as it gets. Early detection saved her life... just like early detection saved my dad from colon cancer in his 30s. My faith in science gets yet another boost.

Now we will really celebrate my parents 49th anniversary on Thursday!

I got so tired of answering that question, I start trolling them. Last one, I answered "Oh yes, I put her in the cardboard box and put it in the garage."

Other time, I've said "Yes I do. Add lil bit of rum in the formula work nicely." She clearly knew I was trolling her, so she replied "Some nights, vodka work better"

Basically met her in Japan last year but we'd been talking for a year already (since my first trip there in 2019). She's not typical Japanese though, she studied abroad since high school or something and through university so she's actually fairly westernized. I dunno if that's the right way to put it. But she checks off a lot of the boxes that girls I meet/talk to here do not since she's way more mature but also funny at times.

I've never really been into car girls that much honestly but it's so cool that she actually drives her 86 both to mountain spots there and also at places like Tsukuba. Here if girls are into cars it's just to get boba and have tons of male friends to look good (eye-roll).

It was one of those quick things where it could've worked but probably not. I've tried to not engage with her as much and it was working well for a few months, and then she lost her old IG account, which wiped out my settings of hiding her from stuff, and then she made a new one and added me again on it last week. So now I've been talking to her again lol.
