I am about halfway through the same exact kit. I have the chassis and drivetrain and suspension all assembled, but i need to paint and detail the body, affix the windows ( I need the right glue for that), and detail the interior.

One thing I am having trouble finding is scale Enkei RPF1 to match my real car. Also need to find a decent way to emulate my carbon exhaust tips.

Edit: @Tcoat I've been waiting for this thread for about a year and a half now, so I can watch a pro do it before I botch my kit

have you tried googling "1/24 enkei rpf1"? There should be more than one brand available. For carbon tips, I would use alu tube with carbon decal. You can use decal softener like Micro Set to wrap the tip and then use any clear coat from a small jar, like Tamiya, to give it a bit of gloss.

You can see that method on the center console in this S2000 interior:

Any parts you guys are looking for, ask me. Spent tons of time looking for them so I know where to find them. Here are a couple of my engines

I haven't started shopping for it yet but 1/24 carbon fiber decals are pretty easy to find.
https://www.tamiyausa.com/items/plas...ecal-set-12679

Not cheap but avaiable
https://www.shapeways.com/product/G2...fujimi-spindle

This is the glue you want. Not hard to get.

The carbon wrap idea is right on the money, thanks. All I can ever do is DREAM of the kind of detail in these builds.

As far as wheels all I could find for RPF1 are 3D printer model sharing sites and one old archived ebay posting

For 1/18 are there kits or do you rework one of the diecast?

There are kits for the 1/18 autoart diecast. V1 kit made by Hobby Design (ebay) and tkdiecast.com. V2 kit made by eightyone81.com

Yep Stratos. A quick image search took me to the diecast forum. Very cool stuff. Those Autoart cars are pretty detailed but you took it to a whole new level. That engine you replaced is spectacular.

It is a disease. But can't beat that satisfaction you get at the end of a build

Is there any paint that would match the DMG of the BRZ or Asphalt of the FRS other than using automotive touch up spray bombs?

Yep. Tamiya colour matches all the Subaru paints. I just picked up the WRB spray can today.
They make a colour match for the Lava as well.
