Summer tires will perform better in the rain than all season tires. Just saying.

At $192 a tire vs $108 Fire hawk indie 500 the only thing spec wise it speed rating. (225-45-17 size) Even autox/track tires are not Y rated. So....why pay more for less grip? At lest on paper.

These two tires are in different leagues when it comes to grip. I've purchased and driven, for myself, on both tires. I don't buy tires by paper specs, and I don't recommend tires by paper specs. I put my money where my mouth is; 2 of my cars street cars (and I can pretty much guarantee I make more power than the vast majority of folks here with either car) are on the MPS4S. I think it's safe to say I'm not Michelin sponsored; I still purchase them, because they 1. last longer 2. have better grip 3. ride quieter. You get what you pay for. The Firehawk Indy500/Bridgestone RE003 is great on a budget, but not when you're trying to put down power in a street car. |

A dude from Arkansas managed to get himself plastered all over the town by singing about our prison. We're suckers for flattery.
