(225-45-17 size)
Even autox/track tires are not Y rated. So....why pay more for less grip?

These two tires are in different leagues when it comes to grip.

I've purchased and driven, for myself, on both tires. I don't buy tires by paper specs, and I don't recommend tires by paper specs.

I put my money where my mouth is; 2 of my cars street cars (and I can pretty much guarantee I make more power than the vast majority of folks here with either car) are on the MPS4S. I think it's safe to say I'm not Michelin sponsored; I still purchase them, because they 1. last longer 2. have better grip 3. ride quieter. You get what you pay for.

The Firehawk Indy500/Bridgestone RE003 is great on a budget, but not when you're trying to put down power in a street car.

Not sure what's wrong with Indy 500s.. I have no problem driving my booted twin on there tires. Plenty of grip for street driving. I am not mashing the throttle every stop light.
