A very valid and unique situation, especially when you consider that the moment you have coil bind, you're effectively suspensionless. At that point (and ONLY at that point onward) the vehicle's chassis becomes it's suspension as well. But until that happens, any wheel movement needs to happen through the suspension, as that's the whole reason it's there, and a stiffer chassis will make it work more effectively and predictably.

Motorcycle frame design started allowing more lateral flex about 15 years ago to compensate for the extreme lean angles that race bikes were increasingly capable of producing. However, this is due to the uniqueness of motorcycles in that their suspension is effectively turned on it's side at these lean angles, and therefore unable to cope with vertical movement in relationship to the road surface. Certainly not applicable with cars. If you're trying to tune this car's performance by adding additional chassis flex, you've already screwed up your suspension selection.

I'd put this product in the same category as the TRD door stabilizers. I'm sure it does something positive but only difference I notice was a lighter wallet and having to close the doors harder than without. Looks cool though. lol

Lol I got those door latches too. I think it maybe made the car handle better, and totally ruined the ride quality.

When discussing butt dyno many people get traction and friction mixed up. This is why lube is suggested and according to the research I've seen is highly recommended.

I think I got better MPG's after the mod... sometimes.. depending on the weather.

To be fair, having driven my car with and without a front strut bar. I can say there there is a difference felt driving at the limit. I'm sure these strut bar/damper things will have some effect in the feel just as a solid bar has an effect. Probably somewhere between not running any bars vs just the stock bars.

If you guys want to buy me these things, I'll put them on my car and AB with both the bars on, bars off, and stock bars.

For it to be accurate you will have to have someone else installing/uninstalling without telling you, so that you aren't biased when you know they are installed!

I think a better test would be to put one on just one side and keep the stock bar on the other side and see if you drive around in circles.

But if I pay somebody to do that, they might just install them backwards.
