Frickin Insurance

OK,,, got the insurance bill in this week for 6 months of insurance.

2019 Silverado $559
2016 Corvette $581
2015 FRS $698

WTF! Really?? The FRS is worth about a third of the other two. As it's not running I dropped Comp/Collision for now. What a rip off

You can thank all of the kids that slide them into curbs for our premiums being high.

Time to shop around insurance companies. I ended up getting down to $90/mo for my FR-S and an '87 Corolla.

Progressives consistently been the cheapest for me. Their pay in full 10% discount has yet to be beat. (Clean record/over 25 age driver)

Lol. I sure wish it was that cheap!

Come up here... $2650CAD/year for me. No accidents or claims in 13 years driving and no points on my license. Can be even more costly if you are in Ontario.

Not fair to compare between countries/provinces/states but it could always be worse...

my car was super close to being a total from hail damage a month ago, i started shopping for a replacement and was shocked at premium difference. I know it was high just didn't know how high it would have been large savings to get into a 997, E92 M3 or Z06

shopping for a cheap rate can be a dangerous thing to get you that good rate they are gonna skimp on things that you really should have.

Holy crap ! You pay more for just your FRS than I pay for a '15 Wrangler, 2020 86 and '89 Trans Am combined every 6 months.
