So, I was finally able to hook up my oil cooler again.

I had it disconnected because I couldn't figure out how to stop leaks from the sandwich plate adapter cluster f*** we have to use in order to have an oil cooler with the kraftworks kit. I tried everything short of devil worship to get the thing to work. Basically we use a spacer on the bottom, and a plate with a sensor on top of that, and then the oil cooler adapter plate on top of that, and finally the oil filter on top of that! So, 3 sandwich plates and an oil filter for grand total of 4 mating surfaces and something somewhere leaking in between.

How did I solve it? I got me a fancy shmancy Skunk2 sandwich plate. I'm not sure when they came out with this thing, but I'm pretty sure it's relatively new to the market. It's basically one giant sandwich plate with an oil temp sensor bung, and the oil cooler adapter all in one! So now I only have two mating surfaces and zero leaks.
I run the mishimoto oil cooler and had the male/female fittings from a motul sandwich plate which is 10AN on both ends. That doesn't fit on the Skunk2 plate. I had to purchase two 8AN male with 10AN flare adapters. The Skunk2 sandwich plate is 8AN.
Oil cooler is 10AN.
I'll edit this post with a pic once my wife gets back from the store with the car.

Here's the links to this stuff if anyone is interested:
Oil Filter Sandwich Adapter - '13-'16 BRZ/ FRS/ FT86

RaceFlux -8AN O-Ring Boss to -10AN Male Flare Adapter Fitting SKU: OM-08-10
these are nice because they have o-rings.

So it is what it is. But so far I'm good and I was on VIR on 100 degree day. With track temps well in excess of 120 with no overheating problems
Not sure how I missed it. Well, it's new to me, and just the fact that I don't have to deal with leaks is enough for me.

No part number sorry. I just took the adapter plate to my local industrial supply and asked them to find a viton o-ring the same size. I have the old adapter so it may not be the exact same size as yours.

Just out of curiosity, I'd like to know where this coming from that the KW SC kits require the Skunk2 oil cooler kit.

To obtain your oil lines the run to the cooler or even a mishimoto radiator oil cooler combo
Right. That's well understood. I guess I just misunderstood about requiring a "Skunk2 oil cooler" The kit requires an oil cooler in general, that works well, along with a sandwich plate or stack that also works well. It could be Skunk2 or something else.

Thanks!

Anyone with this kit drift?

If so are you on the new updated belt?

I’ve gone through 1 belt an event this season. Last event, belt lasted two laps. I’m still on the 20mm belt, I guess I need to upgrade, but want to make sure it would be worth it.
I guess with the money I spent on belts I could have bought it already but I didn’t want the belts to go to waste.

You get a long skinny bottom tip funnel. and I also had perrin oil cap. The oem didn't fit.

Something like this:

As far as price goes...
Mocal Thermostat - $170
Mocal Spacer - $16 (these two are sold together)
ES20 (have to call BAT inc. they're the mocal contact for US - extended screw on) - $13.50
2 Mocal 1/2" BSP x -10 fitting - $12 each
Mocal 90 Degree Socketless Push Lock Hose End -10AN - $12
Mocal 45 Degree Socketless Push Lock Hose End -10AN - $15
-10 Aeroquip Socketless Hose, Black - $80
Two remaining fittings on the oil cooler - ~$30
X-PSP-OIL-001 - Oil Filter Spacer for BRZ/FRS Black - $60
X-PSP-OIL-006 - Threaded Extender for Sandwich
Adapter M20 (Oil Feed Pipe) - $25
Mishimoto oil cooler (probably should buy a setrab or mocal instead... mishimoto's fin density isn't the greatest) - $163

You can probably do it for a lot cheaper if you go with cheap hardware on amazon like fragola or whatever else is on there. But I wanted to best I could afford. It gets expensive when you start to price out the hoses if you want black nylon braided, fire sleeve protection, etc...

so in total: $608

Hey guys,

Has anyone been in contact with Kraftwerks customer support? I have sent them 2 emails in the last 2 weeks and they have not replied to me. I'm not sure if they have disappeared or they are ignoring me.

I just wanted to inquire about upgrading to the 30mm belt setup along with a high boost pulley.
