well, it was funny right up until i had to enter the system to renew the plates and it kept throwing an error that the emissions test i entered wasn't correct.

so the joke cost me a half hour sitting at the DMV.

still worth it.

the only thing i want/need a smart phone for is navigation with google traffic integration. you don't know how many dark holes i've peered into on alibaba trying to find a flip phone that still has google navigation on it...

I wouldn’t upgrade except work makes me and I am hard on phones. I hated my iPhone 10. The 13 is much better for my use but bloated with shit I am constantly shutting off.

Buddy of mine scored us a free partial unit of 1 1/8 subfloor. Good thing cause I need it.

The newest camera tech is mind-blowing. It's time for me to give in. I got a tablet specifically for OBDLink. They really delivered with the VVT monitoring. Since then, I've taken to torturing my personal circle with two numbers. That's not fair either.

It's time.

Yeah it is. I am beyond grateful for it. Material cost increases already has me stressing about my budget before I found out the house needed way more work then I thought. I paid 2400 for cabinets last year, this bid I got for about the same amount and quantity of cabinets was 5300 with a 20% discount. I wasn’t planning on having to reside the house and completely re-pipe it but that has to happen too. I have quite a few good friends in trade and they work for beer, pizza, and the promise to help them when they need it.

They refinance the house to pay 20k to have windows put in.

I’ve learned a ton by working with my buddies over the years on their projects. They are miles more efficient at getting it done though.

Had to move to a new place since the house I was renting got sold by the landlord. I forgot a few things: first how exhausting moving is and how our cars have a surprisingly spacious interior when the back seats are folded down. Even more so if you can play tetris really well!
