I have a ruff wear one I have in my Mazda 3 wagon. Clips around the head rests. That might be able to be mitigated with the child seat anchor points.

Tangentially-related: https://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/20...-hits-bay-area

Haru got his influenza vaccination during his puppy vaxxes in July/August. So I would assume that should help him with this.

Hopefully nobody here deals with this!

My sister uses a doggy hammock sort of thing. Straps to the head rests in front, and car seat points in back

I got one of these types for Christmas. However, it was put in the wife's STi on New Years Day so we could bring home our newest family member.
Meet Juan Sánchez-Villalobos Ramírez, REMY for short. He's an eight month old pure bred Havanese. He's a sweat, reserved little boy (fixed) who's passed through at least three owners before we rescued him.

The pet seat cover in the above photo is called The Paw Proofer. It is sold by Showcase.
Quality is sort of OK. The buckles and snaps are light duty, (I already broke one). The good part is that the tethers clip into the seat belts.

For our two dogs, (Havanese about 10lbs and Cocker Spaniel about 16lbs) it works quite well. We drove to Ottawa and back yesturday (650 kms round trip) with both dogs without a problem. The tethers are adjustable so they can have room to move. They can even change sides. The ends zipper up or you can leave them unzipped, your choice. We can lift our dogs in and out. Larger dogs would require undoing of at least one strap and both zippers. I think it works best in a four door car but can be used in a two door like our twins. Check out the link above and youtube videos.

The aging process of this lady is going ok. She’s got a mast cell tumor between her eyes to be removed in two weeks.

They're adorable, but it is way too early in the day for me to be seeing double.
