There's a line-up of 16 potential vehicles with a face only their mother could love. Best looking one of the bunch is the FJ Cruiser one in the back row.

I guess it depends on the range and the trip. You could always bring a generator.

The ultimate off road vehicles are headed down the same road (or lack of road I guess).
https://www.autoevolution.com/news/u...rs-121144.html It is of course, a clickbait site reference but the last statement hold far more meaning than the rest of put together "However, the Army seems to be determined to go down this path, which means we might get to see more rapid technological development in the commercial sector as well." As soon as the military wants something and they start throwing money at it the tech shows up almost magically.

Yea, I could see a diesel electric design having some benefits (maybe tanks already run that way, I'm not an expert), but pure electric seems just nonsensical for tanks, or any battlefield vehicle.

The last thing that I would want is to have an E-1 do an PCC, PCI, PMCS, on an electric vehicle lol. Not to mention giving the instruction to the mafia just to have them pass it down to another boot. We can barely do a proper PMCS on a diesel truck/equipment.

I have a picture of all the stenciling on a US 5 ton someplace at home. It was obviously done for people that had no clue how to do anything. Things like "remove lock pin and pull here" on the tailgate latches were funny but the "fill to this line" stenciled on the outside of the solid fuel tank with zero way of seeing inside was hilarious. We had zero instructions on our identical trucks.

The truck looks pretty promising. Of course, that said, these could all be the very conceptiest of concept vehicles, just rolling chassis thrown together for looks alone.
