Here's a list of suppliers for the Impreza. Since I could not find anything for BRZ this will have to do to answer your question.

Good luck finding your OE parts for half the manufacturers on this list.

I gave him the list of parts back in post #27. He choose to ignore it and continue to say nobody knew who made what for about 10 more posts.

Not sure what you people are still talking about
What part of the following do you people not understand?

You can't order Japanese parts that are not branded as Subaru parts. A list of suppliers is useless without independent vendors SELLING THEM.

Back-in-the-day, I used ONLY parts made specifically for a certain vehicle and manufactured specifically for the manufacturer of that vehicle.

Yep, nothing else would do.

I would simply search various junk yards until I found a wrecked vehicle just like mine and if it had the part I needed, I took it off purchased it.

Yep, that's how we learned "how stuff worked".

For example, on a junked car, acquiring a fuel pump .....take off the fuel line going in and out, remove the two 9/16" bolts, pull it off ...... inspect the diaphragm, push the pump arm and if it went "oooga-oooga" it was usually a good pump.

Of course, it was well below freezing, the gas from the fuel lines had soaked your gloves, you dropped the wrench at least once and had to crawl under the car in the mud to get it, it was uphill all the way back to the junkyard office and ....... that damn, big, black, mangy junk yard dog, watched you all the time.

THE END

The problem is when you are used to buying those cheap, discounted, 911 parts the sticker price on Toyota/Subaru parts is just too much to bare.

I do that with my Jeeps. A lot of times you can't see how things are put together until it's at least halfway apart and you've already broken something. Sometimes at the junk yard people will have already halfway dismantled a Jeep, so the outer layers are out of the way to lay bare the inner assembly. I'll also take things apart in the JY to make sure I know how they're assembled before risking my own parts.

He doesn't have a car to donate. He's a poser who rides the bus. He steals images off the internet to post questions to pretend he's part of the community. Notice how his questions are all really stupid? It's because he doesn't have a car in front of him to figure it out himself.
