Kelford Cams FA20 High Performance Valve Springs

Just got a set of these in stock and likely will have a set on our silver car soon....

Kelford Cams FA20 High performance valve spring set for the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ. Manufactured for us by PAC Racing springs using the finest Kobe wire and PAC's world renowned manufacturing processes. These springs drop in on the stock retainer to raise the seated pressure from 50lb to 68lb in order to give added protection and proper valve-train control in forced induction applications or higher rpm naturally aspirated applications.

68lb seat pressure at 32.6mm installed height using OEM retainer and base. 166lb open pressure at 11.5mm lift, maximum lift is 13.00mm

Yes these will work with OEM cams.

Pretty much designed that way to increase rev range for those who are NA, and provide a bit more security for those boosted as the rev out their motor.

i think some cam manufacturers have shied away from doing cams because the stock springs are too weak... that's the rumor i have heard anyway.

Really? Doesn't seem to make alot of sense since replacing the cams on this car is quite the chore. I doubt anyone motivated to change the cams would have a problem changing springs/retainers at the same time since. Springs have been available from Ferrea for a while too.

Cams on a 100hp/litre engine aren't likely to be particularly mild, to say the least!
