Help on Fitment!

Hi guys, looking for some advice and see what everyone thinks.

I'm getting 17x9 +35 all around. I'm thinking of going 245/40/17 or 255/40/17 but with 255 i'm afraid of rubbing. Anyone running this setup?

The 2nd part of the equation is the drop.

Should I go with Eibach Pro kit lowering 1" or Sportline lowering 1.4". I want to avoid any fit issues or rubbing.

What you guys think?

You'll be fine. I have 18X9.5 +38 wheels with 245/35 18, and am running H&R sport springs that lower it about .75", and I don't have any rubbing. It's really close to the strut in the front though!

255 would fit with your setup, but I'd go with 245, I think that's plenty of tire for a NA BRZ.

So 255 can fit on the front with no rubbing? Because I'm looking at 18x9.5 +43 and thinking about getting 255/35. I'm on stock suspension at the moment

I don't think that'll fit with the stock suspension without a 10mm spacer, or maybe even thicker. +43 is going to be too high of an offset being 9.5" wide.

18X9 + 40 should be OK in the front with a 245, I'm not sure if you can fit a 255 on a 9 though, I'm not a tire expert!

Yeah 255 will fit on a 9; a lot of us have run 265s on 9.5j wheels.

The question on whether or not it fits comes down to offset and ride height.
