I had OptimumOpti-Coat applied to my car within the hour of getting it from the dealer (had the plastic left on it) two years ago. I have noticed a few light scratches that have showed up since then and would like to get rid of them but am worried that if I use some thing like M205 to polish them out that I will damage the OptimumOpti-Coat. Any advice?

any type of compounding or polishing will take some of the optimum off the paint.
how bad is it? can you live with it?

got a few photos of the areas that are bothering you?

If it's going to remove the coating I could live with it. Is there any thing like a wax that could help make it less noticeable?

As many times as you like. Just need fresh clay and lots of lube.

I noticed that some square marks of dirt from where the plastic was when it was delivered to the dealer and they 'detailed' it before I drove it off the lot and now the square marks wont go away. I'm guessing my best bet is to take it somewhere to remove and replace the wax, but does any one have any other solutions to this problem?

Quality clay bar and lube. My whiteout had some rail dust embedded into the paint that washing didn't remove. Used a clay bar, and after several passes, got rid of them. Polish and wax after.

coffee spill

So I dumped most of an extra large Dunkin Donuts coffee in my passenger floorboard sunday. I got up as much as I could with a wet vac then followed with a dousing of water mixed with carpet cleaner. I think I got up about 3/4 of what dropped. I was thinking of pulling the carpet up but what about just removing the chair and using a steam cleaner on the floor?
Should I just do that? or try to pull the whole carpet. Problem is I think there are strips that hold one side to the other.
what say you?

Steam clean it and call it good. As long as you dilute it enough that you kill off the cream/milk in it then you will be fine. The coffee itself really isn't that bug a deal.

Water stains from sprinklers

What would be the best way to manage water staining on the windows and black trim so they don't become permanent. Where I park the sprinklers hit the passenger side. Im cleaning the windows and trim everyday, but want to know if they is something I can apply to the glass and trim as well as the paint. Parking in another spot is not an option right now.

Could this be calcium deposits? I've got this on my windshield and can't remove thus far
