Motiv High Flow Cat Front Pipe & Overpipe

AFE POWER TAKEDA INTAKE SYSTEM (DRY) - 2013+ FR-S / BRZ

That intake badly needs a tune, as does any header.

You your gains goal is only achievable with the very best setup (including a cat less header), tuning, and e85.

Forget the intake, just get a drop in panel filter and save yourself a pile of money.

If your goal is max power, get the ACE 350 or clubsport header.

Like it's already been said, you're going to need a proper tune (tuned for the header you get) with any good header to really maximize the gains.

More max gains from 4-7k ace header is the way to go the 250 has a little more in that range, 350 has more below 4K and thus is most people’s choice. If you really want catted header for some reason JDL EL is a good choice, however ditch the cat in frontpipe, catted frontpipe is only to reduce smell/noise in catless header otherwise no point.

As far as intake goes drop in is best bang for buck, grimmspeed intake is pretty solid if you really want an intake.
If you can’t run E85 for whatever reason and don’t plan on going FI anytime soon Crawford billet blocks could be another option. (Doesn’t run well with FI or E85) but on NA pump gas it basically adds 5hp 5-6500k and loses 3hp 6500-redline. Overall an increase though.

Whatever setup you go a tune is almost 100% necessary, best bang for buck for HP gains. And makes your car drive better and more reliable.

If you have any local places that can do custom dyno tune with ecutek that would be ideal. Other wise check out delicious tuning and counter space garage. They have some good options / bundles with some quality ots tunes and can custom e-tune.

Here I’ll make it super easy for you. Go to counter space garage. Look for there DT ace header package. Under additional options add CSG mxp touring86 exhaust, ecutek license+cable, and ace Frontpipe. All for 3600$, can grab a flex fuel kit for another 595$ if u plan on going E85. This will net you the greatest NA gains and actually probably best bang for buck, quality, sound, customer service etc.

Nice setup, curious if you have any before/after 0-60 or 1/4mile after the grams throttle body?

You're going to need to go catless to reach at least 20hp gain after a tune.
