Anyone with the billetworkz short shifter?

Just wondering if anyone has this short shifter and if they would recommend it.

In addition, I loved the mtec shift springs on my gen 1, would you pair this spring with a short shifter or would that be too much?

I have it.

I love it.

Except the rattle. I talked to them and they reassured me I'm a part of a tiny minority of people suffering a rattle. I ended up getting high temp grease and a applicator and shoved grease into every orifice the shifter has. Now it only rattles above 6k RPM and I'm almost never up there in this car. Maybe it's just me, maybe not. I have no clue. I just know the fit and finish looks fantastic and they have orings in places that I assume would keep any rattling from happening but the shorter shifting is nice.

Your location is MD.... as in Maryland?

The winter observation came from a Canadian... our "winter" is not the same.

I'm also in that minority. Rattles all day long. They sent me an ORing to add, still rattles. I'm about done with it.

The throw and the feel is top notch. But I can't handle the noise.

I love the feel and throw... so much that I just jammed high temp grease into every orifice that would take it with a syringe from amazon. I joke you not. Only rattles over 6k now and I am rarely that high in the rev range.
