Interesting you mention that, prior to "Black Friday" a lot of places such as Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, etc. Started doing their deals about 2 weeks prior. I got a set of wireless earbuds for like $160 (MSRP $299) on Thursday. B.F hits, and they went up in price to $199. Then again, I'm always scouting deals on techradar which is super helpful when you're looking for specific tech deals/reviews.

Looking on Google Maps the power lines are just over a mile off the NW end of the runway at Montgomery County Airpark.

Don't know the specific details, but that is well within the flight pattern. They were very lucky indeed.

Well, really bummed. Thinking of selling the lotus. I've only put about 500 miles on it the last year. I just have nowhere to drive it here. My wife got all the things she wanted in our move, and I got next to none of my wants. Happy wife, right?

Next the porsche. I can't afford the restore it needs, and in the shape it is in it is a prize for someone with the skill, drive, and money. I don't have the drive anymore, or the money thanks to Obama care.

Then the twin.

Sports cars are worthless in my book without roads to drive them as sports cars. I used to have the best roads in my backyard in Cal. Now all I have is straight farm roads.

Anyone looking for a great Exige? 60k, and I'll throw in a new enclosed trailer for 8k.

Hmmmm.........so, what did you want in your move that you didn't get?

Looks like you have some fun roads starting about 40 miles northeast of you?

Have you considered building a "kit garage" on your back 40? It looks like you have the space and it appears from your neighbors that the CC&Rs would allow it. Make it a "man cave" place you could tinker with your car(s).

Speak of tinkering with sports cars, I should go out into the garage and change the air filter on my FRS. Oh, maybe next week, I don't want to rush into those major projects.

I had one of those once. For about 1/2 an hour. Then it became a 3 cross. They are probably great for shiny new lugs but don't stand up well to the rigors of removing wheels from cars that sat in a field for 10 years.

Yea, owned one for just about as long. After the event this weekend I was thinking about buying something compact but more like this one.

Does anyone here use a pellet stove to heat up their basement? We recently got mini splits installed in the house and they have been great so far, haven't used the furnace, but it can only be so effective once the colder months hit. So I was thinking of using once to heat up the basement, which could help the splits when warming up the house since our basement is not insulated.

80 mile round trip for a drive sucks, and even then, a lot of those roads look good on maps, but when you get there, they are more patches then road. Lots of snow damage. Rattle the car apart.
