Allen wrench, I do not use the included dip stick after the first time. Find a flat spot and get a good reading when full. Then use a small screw driver all the way in and mark it. then go home and put the car where you usually store it. Use the screw driver again and see if the level has changed. If it has then remark the screw driver and you have a dipstick that will work at home and is easy to use.

How did you end up repairing it and how did it hold up? Also, what were your main reasons for returning to NA in the end?

hello FRS team,

Here is my fully built FA20 with turbo kit (partial see link for details), with ECUTEK down and mid pipes etc.

If in Houston LMK instead of shipping we can meet and help install it.

@86TOYO2k17 You got some sort of catch can/AOS installed? Can I see how you set yours up? I know it's a bit different with automatic trannies so I want to see yours as a reference. TIA

anyone know where to get replacement parts for the 210, I've been searching and I just don't have the time to read thru 650 pages just mainly lookin for intake tube. Also is there a gasket between the supercharger and manifold? I purchased this and unsure why they were separated in the first place cause its also missing the bolts but that's easy enough to figure out.

I have a spare intake tube I can sell ya. I replaced it cause I suspected it to be leaking but it wasn't the issue. I bought a new one from Sprintex for $130 shipped but was too lazy to swap it back out and return it. PM me if you want it for much less than what I paid for, of course.

Also there are 4 O-rings that go between the SC and the manifold. The sizes are BS144 O-Ring (63.17 ID x 2.62 CS). I know this because I had to replace mine back then as well and that's what the Sprintex rep told me.

Just look for em online and make sure they can withstand high temperatures.

Intercooler brackets

Is there anywhere I can buy a set of brackets for mounting the intercooler that comes with the 210 intercooled kit? I've got a used kit on the way missing the brackets, and if I can avoid having to get something made myself that would be great.

Edit: I've got the brackets handled, but now. I'm confused about where I can get the rectangular o-ring type seals for between the SC manifold and the head. I mistakenly thought it would use the same type of seal as the oem intake manifold. Now I've ordered what I thought would be the right thing from Jon bond performance, but what I received was round o-rings. Are there supposed to stretch into the rounded rectangular channels on the bottom of the SC manifold?

What oil are you guys using for your superchargers?

Since my unit was serviced by Jon Bond I got their "Tribodyn SC oil" in it. But I don't have enough left to replace my oil, and wondering if adding a different type of oil is even a good idea?

From the Sprintex manual:

Quote:
Drain and replace supercharger oil every 50,000 km or 30,000 miles. Use a quality fully synthetic SAE 75W-90 gear oil, specifications: API GL5, MT1 such as: Redline 75W90 NS gear oil (factory fill), Castrol Syntrax Universal Plus 75W-90, Lucas synthetic SAE 75W-90 gear oil or equivalent. It is critical not to overfill the supercharger gearbox as damage will occur. Fill with exactly 157 millilitres or 5.31 us fluid ounces.

Check the oil level with the dipstick provided in the supercharger assembly. Tighten the dipstick fully before checking the oil level.

http://www.sprintex.com.au/wp-conten...1000-v1r40.pdf
As long as it is fully synthetic and matches the specs required, you shouldn't have any issue with any reputable brand of your choice.

You guys just stick a syringe and tubing into your SC until you hit the bottom and then suck everything out, right? I need to change mine and I'm nervous about doing it for the first time lol.
