I bring back this old thread just to ask WHY 20540AA090 won't work on BRZ/FRS front shock upper hole, it's a M14X66 bolt that is 16mm from one end and 14mm from the other as our OEM upper bolt, am I wrong?
WRX/STI >MY11 use 901660038 adjustable upper bolts that are similar with 20540AA090 the only reason that comes in to my mind is that we need to open both sides of hole to 16mm!

IIRC the stock upper bolts are 14mm with a 16mm shoulder, the bottom bolts are 14mm with no shoulder (exact same as the crash bolts). I've got my stock bolts somewhere, I'll see if I can find them tonight to confirm.

Agree, so in order to fit the 20540AA090 14mm eccentric OEM upper bolts it needs both holes to be 16mm
