Well, I "worked" my ass off today.

I started by hitting Costco during the "seniors" only hour, before they open for the the unwashed masses loading up on TP and ass wipes. I scored a 19 pound, fresh turkey for .99 per pound. I got out of there with a bale of TP, a rack of Kleenex and a large box of ass wipes, before the trailer park masses overran the store.

THEN, I hit Walmart and got metered in within a few minutes. I got out just as their credit card system was going whacky.

Yep, $425 at those two stores went darn fast (no booze or cigarettes and the only meat was a $19 turkey).

So, it's time to fix lunch for the remote learners and myself. The 4 ager has been eating all morning and mrs humfrz has already had a sandwich.

THEN - yep you guessed it - a looooong nap -

So what exactly is TP, and how is that different from Ass wipes?

After such a bad experience last year I'm just super apprehensive.
Pm me and I'll tell you who I used. Super expensive, but I've had no problem.

TP is Toilet Paper, the ass wipes are those moistened, flushable wipes for your butt (that used to just be used for babies).

I reckon that ya'll up there are still using pages out of old catalogs and corn cobs to wipe your butts -

The secret is to always have two red and one white corn cob.

Use a red one first..
Then use the white one to see if you need another red one.

My septic guys says there is no such thing as flushable wipes.

I'm still getting used to the corn cobs.

Hell Tcoat, how old do you think the modern Imperial Measurement System is? It was introduced in 1824! And the Metric system was adopted in 1965. (Coincidentally, the year I believe the following photos were taken.)

Dadhawk, I could have used the 1939 Royal Tour McLaughlin Buick which if I remember was closer to 250" long. But, as only two were built I stayed with the relatively higher production V16. As for nostalgia, I road in the this Royal Tour Buick many times when it was owned by the Norton family of Oshawa Ont. (Talk about needing 40 acres to turn it around...)
Photos were taken by my father at an old car meet in Janetville Ont. mid 60's. Our yellow 1934 La Salle convertible coupe is in the second photo showing just how big the McLaughlin Buick was. (note, both cars were built in Oshawa)
