Slammed to... Slightly more functional

With a brief backstory:

I had been loosely following the car's development for a few years before it was released, with the intention of purchasing one as soon as I could. Being that I was 20 or 21 when it came out, without a stable job, it was a dream and couldn't happen. I ended up getting a well paying job, with some much needed stability and since my 2001 Mazda 626 (I had a 5 speed V6, apparently those are pretty rare) was starting to show signs of it's age, and me not having a ton of faith in it, I knew I had to start shopping around.

Originally, I was going to purchase a tC, so I test drove a few of them, but could only find autos. I wasn't happy with the auto transmission, so I went to the dealership to drive a new one with a manual. After talking with the salesman, I mentioned how I had driven a tC before, but I really wanted the FRS, despite it's impracticality. He ended up tossing me the keys to an FRS and I drove it. While I really, really liked the manual trans in it, it just wasn't a good fit for my life at that point. So I asked about the AT, he mentioned it was really good, so I threw caution to the wind, put a deposit down that same day and ended up with a 2015 Halo FRS a few days later.

Here it is in it's multiple stages

The day after I brought it home

New exhaust (N1 clone) and Buddy Club tails (really regret selling these)

Coils (GodSpeed MonoMax RS) installed

Chillin' at the cottage

Black stuff ready to go in

First set of wheels (Enkei Compe 16x8 with 225/50 RE11A) This is @drewbot favourite stage of the car, and he never lets me forget that. But to be totally honest, it was really perfect in this configuration, and I wish I never sold these wheels, or the tails.

Hi ISF

This thing was too fucking loud

Posted up with the new wheels (XXR 527 17x8.25 +25)

More poor life choices

And then suddenly, I said screw it to living the low life and decided I wanted to start going fast (well, as fast as you can go with a header and a stg 2 91 tune)

To Be Continued

So now this brings us to current day. I don't have a whole lot planned for it now very happy with where it's at, and I want to get some autox under my belt before I start changing anything. Though, if I know myself, I'll probably have another 6 exhausts through this next year.

As of right now, my parts list:

Engine
-HKS air filter
-Corsa exhaust

Suspension
-Tein S-Tech springs
-Camber bolts
-SilverProject top hats
-SPC LCA
-SPC Toe Arms

Wheels
-17x9 720Form GTF1
-245/40 RE71R

Exterior
-CDC Mustang 3rd brake light

Winter time is best time for these cars

I currently have the Enkei Compes too and contemplating getting rid of them. I feel like I might regret it too. I'm waiting to see how they look with a drop first.

Can't wait to see what else you have planned.

They're 16x8+25 enkei compes. Tires are 225/50/16 Bridgestone RE-11A. Drop was on GodSpeed MonoMax RS coils.

You can get a similar fit on springs, but it won't be as low.

That was the test fit. May or may not rub. Putting the wheels on at the end of the month, so we'll see how it fits then!

Love it, but I need to have the silencer in all the time. It's just way too boomy without it inside the cabin.

I agree with @drewbot, those Enkei Compe's looked perfect on your car! Did you need to run a lot of negative camber to get them to fit?

I actually have these on myself but I'm looking to also change wheels... still kinda torn if I should or not.

I'm still on stock ride height and they do poke (more so in the front) but I'm planning on at least -2 camber in front and I'll go from there.
