@HeresMyMind is that a standard/non-modified OFT stage 2+ 4.03 off-the-shelf ROM?

Torque Dip is completely gone, replaced by small bump at around 4500 RPM!

Very nice TQ curve. I plan to get my car done on 91 and e85. Modified tunes done by a member based on the v4 oft base tunes.

Completely unmodified.

The run was also after the IAM got up to 1.0 after a few light pulls.

My mods just Happened to be the perfect combo for this flash.

I may be able to squeeze a tint bit more power by leaning it out to 12.5 afr average but the 11.9-12 is more on the safer end. Especially for a generic map.

or you could try rising a bit the timing without leaning the afr, timings on v4 are not sooo extreme

I’m very happy with these results. Maybe I’ll get an ECUtek dyno tune by my shop (EFI Logics) but no rush. Maybe winter when they are slow or something.

you could do that in few minutes with romraider just few logs to see if it knocks, if all goes well you could have a bit more power and better fuel economy

not bad, would be interested to see a stock comparison.

Also +1 for doing a ecutek comparison.

i have a custom oft tune, but have been thinking about getting a custom dyno ecutek tune.

Wow very nice - just a quick and dirty comparison, torque gains around 20% in the 3000's. Then around 10% average between 4000 and 6000. And then great gains on the top end, peak gain of about 24% near redline. All with a 'canned' tune.

But wait, this can't be right. I just read on here that the only good header out there was the $1400 ACE? Everything else was crap with torque dips.

I believe ACE is the best header for all around results and being EL.

Most EL headers still have the torque issue. The only one I've seen that has a flat trq value are HKS EL's. Although I dont think they have the best overall gains. Check out these results.
