Not sure how similar this is to what everyone else is experiencing, but here's 2 short videos I took of a rattle I've been having in the ~dash area. At first I thought it was that the speaker wasn't level, because I was able to push it down and have it click, but driving around with it depressed doesn't solve the issue. In fact, it sounds as if it's inside the dash more than anything...

You might need earbuds to hear it, was taken on an iphone. The rattle can be anywhere from slightly noticeable to pretty significant (can hear it over the radio) depending on the road (or how the car feels that day apparently).

[ame]http://youtu.be/9SX5UPjXl6g[/ame]

(second is still processing)

Also, sitting at a light this morning it was rattling the whole time, which leads me to believe it's not necessarily related to rough roads. Perhaps there's something bouncing around inside? The inconsistency of the rattle also lends itself to that theory, where that piece or whatever it is sometimes finds a resting place where it can't move around as easily.

Anybody seen/heard anything like this?

Like you, I'm not likely to try accelerator isolation fix until it's warmer out. It's 16F as I type this.
Ahhh mine came back too. Maybe the climate reflects the noise? So far I think we can rule out:

-Felt unlikely the solution
-Does not involve doors
-Does not involve gauge cluster

I still have a feeling it's the speakers... I can create the sound by letting off the gas around 65-70mph.

Make sure you check the lower pillar where the drivers side seat belt attaches to (the plastic below it). That was one for me

Padded the blue circled area with some 3m tape and foam. Reduced some metal to plastic panel noises.

The rattle noise sounds like it is coming from the steering column in red highlighted area. Sometimes the rattle is barely noticeable but the past couple days it's really bad over minor bumps/imperfections on the road.

God help me.

I agree, I heard it mostly during night time driving.

Anyone brought theirs to the dealership yet to get it fixed ?

Thanks

I have the same intermittent buzzing sound as recorded by Prog and Odd. The car is at the dealership now and I'll let everyone know what they find. So far, several hours has been spent on it to no avail.

Update: I had the same buzzing sound as Prog and Odd. good news, bad news. My dealership fixed it (knock on wood) but they do not know how. They took a bunch of parts off the around the drivers side dash and under the instrument panel but could not get the buzzing to stop. They put the pieces all back on and POOF, it does not make the sound anymore. So my best guess is the buzzing is coming from something to which the dash or parts under the dash attach.

According to the dealership, "we have no idea what it was." But that is a bit of an overstatement. They took off a bunch of dash parts and parts under the instrument panel (exactly what parts, I do not know) and the sounds did not stop. But when they put the parts back on, it stopped. So, I infer that it had to have been something to which the parts they removed had attached to.

I've got the same sound as Prog. It's getting worse, particularly on the ludicrously noisy I-5 south of Seattle.
I'll be taking it in to the dealer, does anyone know a good one that won't give me the runaround around Tacoma of Olympia?
Thanks

My money is that it will come back.

It did. But not as frequent now. I presume it will get worse.
