You didn't pay the full $500, did you? Hopefully they at least gave you $100 off.

Interior detailed. Took 1hr. Finished 75%. So much dust! Tomorrow I'll wash, wax and detail outside. Then Thursday I'll clean trunk and start engine!

Keeping a good cleaning maintenance is key to not having grudge and crud build up!

Thanks guys
On that subject, I want to rust proof but am worried about the smells ( dealer uses zeibart rust proofing here "in outer space") I rust proofed a car a couple of years ago using zeibart and the first few days were terrible, I actually pulled to the side the first day and started inspecting the car because of the burning smell, asked the dealer about it and they said:

"Initially you will get a slight burning smell until the application dries properly and this is normal"

Well that smell carried on for a couple of months and then it went. It was annoying I have to say and that's why I'm holding back on rust proofing it. I also want to paint protect it when I can scrape enough money together. Total cost is around 800$ for both.

It lasted around 2 months decreasing gradually from day 1 the worst was the first couple of days. On day one I had my kid in the car and was at a traffic light, I actually put hazards on and got out to make sure it wasn't on fire.

But rustproofing is a great thing if you're thinking long term so be patient, and if it really gets on your nerves take it to a car wash and wash the bottom of it, gets rid of some of the gunk ( that's what I did ). The more you drive it the more the application hardens and the smell becomes less noticeable.

You rust proofed the same car 3 times? Why? Rust proofing carries a very long warranty.

Installed the Grimspeed Strut car in my car.

Didn't get a chance to really drive it and get a feel for it.

Drove to the tire shop, put a deposit down on a set of 17X8 +35 720Form GTF1's. Funny thing is that I absolutely hated the wheel when it first came out because of the silver machined bits on them, but they've really grown on me since then.

Plus, I'm going to start autox next year, and having a set of 15.5 pound wheels sounds like a good idea for that, especially since they're just over 1000 CAD. I don't think anything else even comes close to touching that.

Also went to the liquor store for Christmas shopping. Got my dad a nice bottle of bourbon and my mom a gift card. Shopping is easy when most of the people in your life hit the sauce a bit too hard.
