K24T Track Build

Starting a K24T track build. I purchased a 2013 Subaru BRZ that had some existing mods for HPDE. I welcome any and all feedback on this journey.

My main goal with the car is to make it competitive against a 718 Cayman GT4 CS.

Before going under the knife for the K24T swap I've planned out some of the following:

Target Tires:
Michelin Slick 27/65/18
Alt: Pirelli DH Slick 285/645/18
Custom Forged Wheel: 18x10 et40 (planned, in design)

Suspension:
Front: Wisefab Front Kit, RCE Tarmac 2 (spring rates to be revisited)
Rear: SPL Rear Control Arms, RCE T2
Whiteline Bars

Brakes:
Front: AP Racing 9660 6-Piston Calipers with 355mm Paragon Discs, Ferodo DS3.12 (in hand and planned)
Rear: OEM Calipers, Stoptech Discs, Ferodo DS3.12

Body and Aero:
Front: Todoroki KMO +30 Bolt on (planned)
Rear: Rolled
Splitter and Wing: TBD

Powertrain and Controls:
Target: 420whp
K24, KPower Kit
G25-660 (planned)
Tubular manifold
FMIC
Turbosmart 60mm gate, BOV
DW twin pump return system
Haltech 1500 Elite with IO Expander

Driveline:
CD009 Transmission
OSG LSD

This is how she sits when starting by testing fitment of 18x9.5 et45s with 27/65/18s to devise ideal offsets for a custom forged wheel I'll be using. It appears the rear could possibly package a 305 if rolled aggressively, but my main goal in the first year is to work up to square setup with a Pirelli 285/645/18 DH Slick. That tire should have a section width of around 11mm wider on the 10" than the Michelin does here:

While waiting for parts to arrive, the target date for the swap to commence is late February. Aiming to be on the track by April for shakedown as the weather turns.

Sounds like an awesome build. Any reason for a custom wheel? I believe Volk makes the ZE40 in that exact spec for our cars.

I'm just not a huge fan of that wheel and it's price point. I have some background in part development and manufacturing so I already have a connection which makes it a more simplistic exercise.

If I ever depart from a non-square setup to go to a larger rear tire for more power, it almost seems as if I could use an 18x10.5 et 42 on the rear. I'm tempted to get a pair of those and test fit a 305/645/18.

I plan to take out most of the interior and move over to carbon doors with only latches and no glass/poly.

Going to run a K24Z head for that sweet, sweet simple (but most of all track reliable) manifold?

K24A2, I do agree though that the Z would package better.
