No, not terrible human, normal human. That's funny as hell. Think he learned and stopped his dumb behavior? Let's all hope so.

No he didn't learn. He will just blame the truck driver for paring there. Nothing is ever the fault of who it happens to

I was out for a walk and saw a cyclist hunched over the handlebars as she powered up a significant incline. I saw her cycle into the back of a parked car and ungraciously ended up on the ground. (It was freakin' awesome to witness!) I asked if she was ok and her first response was "is that car parked legally?" Her reply stunned me, I had trouble processing what she had said; the car was stationary and you cycled into it. Yeah, the car was parked legally, I shrugged and wandered off, amazed at her perspective.

I know I was just joking. It was my coworkers truck that the kid hit, he was more concerned the kid was concussed and would make it home so he insisted he call a parent and be picked up. The kid had his dad come get him. I guess he had 3 pretty big gashes on his face and a bloody nose. Likely woke up with a black eye.

I"d hope so but you never know. My buddy was worried about the kids dad freaking out on him but he said when the kids dad showed up, he was scared of him making him pay for the damage.

A friend of mine from school's dad used to ride his bike 20 something miles to work every day. He was coming down a huge hill and hit a dump truck that was pulled over in the dark. Almost killed him.

Lol. That sounds like me when I say I am only working an 8hr day. Then I end up eating all 3 meals at work.

New temp that's worked for me for two weeks smashed the shit out of his hand. Cleaning up at the end of the day and using the boom to empty a small trashcan sized scrap bin into our large scrap bin. It got caught on the edge and he tried to grab it and to free it and it swung and smashed 3 of his fingers from the last knuckle up between both bins. I've been sitting in ER for over 3 hours with him.

Yeah, think of a bratwurst when the skin splits. Doc didn't think it was too bad but a lot of tissue damage.

it's not so much the skin, it's the nerve damage that's always the scariest.

He seems okay there from what they checked. They won't know more till the swelling goes down. Despite the pain he can still feel them touching his fingertips and down his fingers.
