You might be surprised at what those of us in the top 1% complain about.

It's not how much you have. It's how you use it. Or is that size.

Ah didn't read that detail closely. Just saw the different modes

Wealth envy in a cheap sports car forum? Probably not.

Thinking your a massive wanker for flexing that you are part of the 1% (worth > 12m in assets). Probably so.

I drove it the other day and didn't notice anything to complain about. They were pretty easy to operate. There is no satisfying "click" but you hit a point of resistance that is plenty enough.

Nope. I'm plenty happy with my financial status. Would I like to make more? Sure, everyone would.

Who cares how much money someone has, how they discuss it, or if they put it in your face?

If anyone wants wealth, either go back in time and try really, really hard in school, or start today by working 100 hours a week either trying to start a business or getting an education in a field that is actually in demand. Then spend the next 10 years working 100 hours a week to become an expert in that thing or growing the business. Anyone in that position should be earning a decent amount money. But none of us are going to do that. We exist in a lower social economic class. Yes, we want more money, but it really won't solve 90% of the issues we have.

Also, yes, some rich people are hilarious when it comes to money. They will bitch for months that the lawn care company started charging $10s more to mow the grass around their $1 million mansion.

As for the turn stalk... It is more a question of how much they save in switching to a less complex part. If it is a $1 per car, and they install it in every car, that is still potentially millions in savings across the entire Subaru lineup over the entire generation of those vehicles. Every little bit helps, especially for the 86 platform that I'm still shocked got a second generation. I was 51% sure they were going to just cancel the entire thing at some point.

Yeah, don't care for the stalk if its just a minor adaptation to get used to it. This is likely the last gen of the twins we'll ever get to see before it becomes an EV or hybrid or something not gasoline driven anymore. Super happy we got a second gen!

I don't understand why this is such a huge issue for some people. You can get used to different clutches that every car has but you can't operate a switch after 5 minutes of using it?

Well the clutch really doesn’t affect the driving experience. The turn signals need to be just right or I’m buying something else.
