FUCKKKK

You may be over thinking it, depending on your area. I bought it for the same reason as you and have only had positive experiences with it. It doesn't look that much different than a regular BRZ (minus the wheels) so I don't think the reactions would be too much greater than for a regular one

Definitely turns heads, you know your car looks good when the teenage boys in the neighborhood all look even after you pass them! I think the STi aero kit and wheels definitely set it apart from the other stock 86s

2015 Series.Blue BRZ

PS. I live in a nice area and my car is not a big deal around here, it's no Porsche or Ferrari....

The FRS RS 1.0 would attract way more. In a bad way I think too.

I think the only yellow car I saw in my life that doesn't scream outrageous is a 991 porche in sorta of yellow tone lime green color....that actually look high class.

My WRB Aozora on Northen Exposure. Drove over 1000 miles this weekend to get the engine break-in done on B-roads, enjoyed every second even with the 4K RPM max. Oil change for good measure tomorrow.

This Saturday morning starting a "small" ~7500 mile bucket-list road-trip : 101&1 Pacific Coast. Why such high milage ? I'm in the GTA, so I'll be stitching together some other epic locations on the East-West portions.

I've owned mine a few months now and it'll put a smile on my face every time I get in it.

Yet to have anyone try and race me, it's not like you have to respond if they do.. Just pick and choose your battles, focus st comes up, have fun! If a v8 mustang rolls up, take a nice, slow walk off the line..

Get used to people taking pictures while you drive by. The area I live in it's pretty rare to see another 86 yet alone a series blue. It is very common to have people approach you at the gas station to ask questions and talk about the car. It's easy to tell the people who know the 86's vs the ones who don't. "When did subaru start making coupes?!"

Has anyone removed their front bumper entirely? I tried to a while ago but ran into a problem. Basically, the pop rivets at the bottom corners of the bumper (that is, the ones that attach the sides of the lip to the splash guard and the bumper) are not normal pop rivets. They're completely flat--there is no way to lift up the center section and remove the rivets. Consequently, it seems that to remove the front bumper, you'd either have to drill out and replace those two pop rivets, or remove the entire splash guard with the bumper.

Is this just something unique to my dealership's installation? Is there a way to remove and reuse those pop rivets?

I test drove a Series.Blue car a few weeks ago. I was only allowed to drive it for 2 miles and couldn't really get a feel for the power. It's a 10/10 aesthetically and interior is pretty nice. I have an Evo X on E85 with about 370HP/390TQ and I'm not sure if the switch to a BRZ would be good power-wise.

Drive a reg BRZ. Exact same power as the series blue.

You're going to feel lethargic unless you add FI.

If power is what you are looking for, I am sure you are looking at wrong car.

Mine were the same way. It was a major PITA getting them out. Pick up a few extra as they'll be ruined when you take them out, but they come out.

These aren't the cars you're looking for.
You can go about your business.
