Electricians are crazy and it’s easier not to think about the logic of their decisions.

A good friend of mine bought a ~10 year old house in an upper middle class gated community. The electrical panel is in the corner of the basement, there are exterior outlets on each side of the house on the ground level, the ground fault interrupt for the exterior outlets is in the center of the second floor in a bathroom, the rest of that bathroom is its own breaker. Took forever to figure it why the exterior outlets didn’t work.

Dear god... that sounds like a nightmare as well

It's possible there was no fishing involved since most the electrical work is done on bare studs. What makes quasi-sense without walls up seems insane once the walls are actually installed sometimes.

Went to the Chiropractor yesterday, never been to one, to discuss my recent, more stagnant back pain. Turns out my pelvis was out of alignment. A couple of cracks here and there and let me tell you I felt like a car with brand new tires, alignment, and balancing had been done. It was weird, as soon as he was done and we were just shop talking, I felt this urge to just burst out laughing, is like the doctor pressed the "Reset" button on my body.

Chiropractor is a good "reset" of the button for your body... but you need to adjust the muscle as well.

Absolutely, I think the next sessions will be massage and what not. He did congratulate me about being active in the gym because of my flexibility, he said that if it wasn't because of that, I would've been in a lot more pain.

Looks at wheels on the BRZ.

"18x9.5 is too wide for this car."

Looks at EVERY online resource.

"18x9.5 +38 is the perfect fit for the BRZ/FRS/GT86"

Looks back at the wheels on my car.

"I guess if you like -3* of camber on a street car?"

Haha I feel you. In 18’s I wanted 18x8+35. One of the only option I had was Enkei Raijin.

Now try finding 17x8+35 w 5 or 6 spokes. Now that’s crazy hard. Most are discontinued or too common. In the end, went w custom... which was way more expensive than Advan or Volks, but I like it. That’s all it matters, right? lol

It's your car, so only you have to be happy with it.

Issue I have is that I really like Enkei rs05rr wheels and got them in 18x9.5 about 2 years ago. Now I'm not sure if 18x8.5 would work with the brakes, so need to dig up dimensions and find out.

In the end I guess I'll end up with two sets of wheels, which is also sort of expensive. Price of doing a lot of research and asking vendors, but still not really knowing what I was doing when buying the first set. I also learned that when you're looking at pictures in a gallery of wheel sizes, if the front wheels are slightly turned in every picture, it's because there's poke. The person is just hiding it while saying they're "perfectly flush".

That's a good take! I hope they are good friends.
