Wallets...

So today I was just thinking about my wallet. I've had the same basic timberland leather wallet for more than 10 years, i think it cost about $40. It has not worn much besides some mild stretching of the card slots. I never really thought much about it until today.

This is the stock photo of what I have.

Just wondering what kind of wallets you guys have. What made you choose it. I know people are into watches and such so I'm sure some of you have some strong wallet preferences/opinions.

I recently found this wallet from Maxpedition at one of my local outdoor shops. Less than $25 out the door and seems really well contructed. A great everyday wallet. I went with OD green.

I've had the same leather wallet I got from Kohl's for 11 years. Don't plan on upgrading until it breaks. I've seen designer wallets and they are nice, but every time I contemplate spending money on one I end up either buying car parts, gun parts and accessories , or some electronic gadget. Different people, different priorities.

I've had the same Levi's wallet for about a year and a half. It has mesh instead of clear plastic for my driver's license, so that's starting to break, but other than that its good.

I had a Pulp Fiction "Bad Mother Fucker" wallet for about a year until I left it at a restaurant… Was the best wallet I ever had...

Slimmy - solid front pocket wallet if you don't have to carry much. I started with the Slimmy Original and now using the X Slimmy.

I started using a front pocket wallet once I realized that sitting on a traditional rear pocket wallet all day long was giving me discomfort and posture issues.

Agreed, although I keep mine in the rear pocket most of the time, been great so far, have to spend some time every couple months getting rid of stuff I use only rarely but totally worth it for a nice wallet that isn't a pain in a world where baggy pants are no longer cool. Still pull it out if I'm sitting for an extended period of time though (work & driving) but totally livable.

I haven't carried a wallet in decades. Have always found "alternative" ways to carry important cards, cash just goes in front pocket. He's my latest card carrier, probably had this for 8 years or so. (old cell phone belt case) For those who are wondering....no, I don't walk around with it clipped on my belt like a doofus, but if and when I do, on rare occasion, it's covered by my shirt, but I usually just pocket my Amex, Visa and license.
