Coilovers?
I'll get my FR-S probably in 1-2 week and I'm searching for a coilovers setup.
Enjuku Racing already begin to sell parts as you can see there: http://www.enjukuracing.com/categori...BRZ-%2ANEW%2A/ And I've crossed the BC coilovers. A brand that I never heard, seem to fit with what I'll do with the car ( some track action but mostly street ) + a decent price. Have you heard any input from BC coilover for other cars?

I've read pretty good reviews about these coilovers... (on S13, evo and s2000)... Never tried them myself but they seem to be decent for the type of usage you are planning. Of course, you'll get the standard reply from "real suspension guys" that they're not KW or whatever, but who cares. On my part, I'm waiting for Fortune Auto's suspension, amazing ride/build quality, can come with swift springs and amazing on track.

I'm gonna order some rsr coils when I'm ready for that upgrade. Gonna couple that with some 18x8.5 +44 wheels.

are you hung up on it being a threaded body height adjustable "coilover"? Or if you found a quality damper with a lowering spring, would you go with that? Only point of getting a height adjustable coilover is if you are going to corner weight the car. I just have seen really quality dampers from the likes of bilstien be overlooked because they dont have a threaded body.
granted i'm a suspension snob, but I don't like putting parts on the car that are inferior to what it came with stock. I understand if you are looking to lower the car, but if this is the case, why not just use lowering springs with the stock dampers or a decent aftermarket damper? Cost would be less, and ride likely better. Good luck with whatever you decide. Matt |

Suspension snob here.
The most honest and unbiased advice I can give you on coilovers is that the best possible outcome is that you'll get what you pay for. I can get wanting to run out and put some BC, Stance, D2 etc. coilovers on your car to lower it. I've done a slammed Miata on Stance GRs. Loved it. Just don't expect any performance gains out of it. Slamming a 20 year car with blown shocks on cheap coilovers is one thing. Lowering a very well set up, brand new 2013 sports car on aftermarket coils is another. Just think about what you want out of the car before you pull the trigger, I guess. On the snob end of things I had a set of Robispec KW V3s on my Evo 9 RS (with Whiteline everything, braces, camber plates etc.) and even with professional help it took me about a year to get that thing set up 'right' i.e. consistent, planted and as-low-as possible lap times. Lesson being that expensive stuff is no 'magic bullet' either.

They were Used...but are Freshly rebuilt with new technology seals and oil... these should fill my bill nicely for National Level Autocross that I have planned for my BRZ... As a suspension snob you'll know that it's all about the right setup then.
Congratulations on the sexy hardware though. When set up right they're bound to do you proud and be hugely rewarding! Double points for being a pioneer - not like there's a whole bunch of proven setups to start off with. I'll be warching how you make out - here's to blazing new tails!

I'm not looking to switch my car to a racecar setup, but just have fun on the track and to lower it for the look. I've search on various forum for these BC coilovers on differant cars and every one with the same type of utility seem happy with those. So I've order them, let's hope I'll got it before I got the car :P I'll give you my feedback on those. Thanks again.
