I could do without the vent behind the front wheel, but I can see that they are trying to do something more interesting with the front fender arch by emphasizing the outlet area behind the front wheel - much like the rock bunny kit.

Also, when I see it I think NSX from the front.

Just how hard are you squinting to get anything NSX out of that?

And who is this "they" you speak of? The 18 year old magazine render dude that makes these up?

Not very hard. I am also seeing W30 MR2.

"They" - The guy who knows a guy who spoke with the dude that found his way into the place and witnessed the thing. It might not be 100%, but I'm happy to stake a whole penny on it being 8/10s there, which I base on absolutely nothing besides hopes and dreams.

Well since this is about their 10th kick at it they must have one of them close by now. Be hilarious if their first guess was closest.

The side profile rendering looks like they mashed up the designs from a Q60 and an RCF.

And LOL at the interior render. Who ever rendered it should have chosen an automatic transmission picture of the current 86 since it looks like manual, but their gauge shows "P."

The crease in the top of the rear quarter is also totally different between all the pictures. Does it extend into the door or not?
Hell the first picture is a totally different car that the rest.
All fiction anyway.
The BRZ gets the front fender vent and the 86 will be getting a chrome windmill hood ornament, something like out of Paper Moon.

That render is pretty ugly, dang. Rest of the specs look pretty spot on though.

The rear shots are giving me serious Honda Accord Coupe vibes with a splash of Mercedes W204 tail light flair.

Official Subie channel said today that they will do a BRZ live presentation next week. Not sure yet what they will present. Let's hope that it'll be related to the 2nd generation model and make the project live again.

Do you have a link? Be interesting to see what they have to say by then.
Could be something like a wider release of the German final edition maybe?

Only this comment for the time being. Yes, it could be also a final edition model presentation.
